Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Maperivo (the "Service"), operated by Maperivo ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

1. The Service

Maperivo provides a web-based map designer and a server-side exporter that generates production files (SVG) from a design. Access is granted per license key and plan.

2. Accounts & licenses

• You are responsible for activity under your license key and for keeping it confidential.
• A license may be used only on the domains and within the plan limits associated with it.
• We may suspend a license for non-payment, abuse, or breach of these terms.

3. Map exports & plans

• One map export equals one complete map (all layers in one generation, including the back-engraving file and, for multi-panel products, every panel of one approved design). Re-exporting the same design within 7 days does not consume an additional export. Exports are counted only after a file has been generated successfully.
• The free trial includes 50 map exports over 14 days. Afterwards the Free plan includes 10 map exports per calendar month (UTC); unused monthly exports do not roll over. Free accounts can use the Studio, 3D Map and Cut Out styles, the 3D Printer and all LAB generators; LAB generators never consume map exports.
• Map exports purchased as one-time packs do not expire while your account is active and are used after the monthly exports.
• Starter and Business plans include all map styles and unlimited map exports under fair use: safeguards protect against automated abuse, and unusually heavy use is reviewed manually before any action — normal work is never metered. When a paid plan ends (cancellation, failed payment or refund) the account returns to the Free plan; purchased packs and saved designs remain.
• Map exports and subscriptions are licenses to use the Service, not stored monetary value.

4. Payments & cancellation

Paid plans and packs are billed through our payment processor (Stripe). Subscriptions are available monthly or yearly (yearly is billed once for 12 months) and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your client panel: your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, no further payment is taken, and we do not refund the unused remainder of that period. Prices are shown at checkout.

5. Your content & output

• Designs your customers create, and the production files you export, are yours to use and sell. We claim no ownership over them.
• Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors and rendered via Mapbox; your use of maps is subject to their respective terms.
• You are responsible for the products you sell and for complying with the laws that apply to your business.

6. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to resell, reverse-engineer or extract the Service's export engine, overload the API, or use the Service for unlawful content. The export engine and geometry pipeline remain our intellectual property.

7. Availability & warranty

We work to keep the Service available but provide it "as is", without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the previous three months.

8. Changes & termination

We may update these terms or the Service; material changes will be announced by e-mail or in the panel. You may stop using the Service at any time. Files you have already exported remain yours.
